YOU REQUIRE A GROUP 3 VISA
You MUST apply for a visa IN ADVANCE and can
ONLY apply for one directly at a Bolivian embassy.
The Cost for a Group 3 Tourist Visa is $30 USD.
The Standard Processing Time is 1 to 5 weeks.
*IMPORTANT: US Dollar notes must be in perfect condition. Old, torn or marked notes will not be accepted by officials.
Group 3 Must Present:
- 6 month validity remaing on passport
- 2 copies of passport information page
- 2 passport photos
- Evidence of a hotel reservation
- Detailed printed itinerary of your time in Bolivia
- Exit ticket out of Bolivia
- Proof of economic solvency (credit card, cash, or a current bank statement
- Special immigration form – available on Bolivia Hop bus

application. Border officials are very strict so you will want to come prepared.
